BY THE WATERS OF DELIVERY

By breathing and brooding,

by breaking and birthing,

by parting and loosing,

by stirring and soothing:

by giving, re-living,

by stilling, refreshing,

by drowning, immersing,

by raising, re-versing,

you, Lord, deliver us.
