Mosaic Sphere

Oh to create a mosaic sphere,

from shards of stained glass;

    fragmented and gathered,

    chosen and precious,

    translucent, transformed,

    fastened and framed.

Out of destruction;

    lit from within,

    reflected outside,

    turning and turning,

    falling and rising.
