THE FOOLISHNESS OF GOD

For God’s foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God’s weakness is stronger than human strength.

1 Corinthians 1.25

Our Father,

you are great and glorious;

but to this twisted world

your wisdom and power

seem stupid and feeble:

grant us your insight,

your subtlety and love,

to show you to people

as you really are,

focused in your Son,

Jesus Christ our Lord,

Amen.
